Opened by Henry ‘Hap’ Hazard in 1914, Henry’s bike mechanic skills and knowledge has been passed down and held strong within the shop. Fastrack Bicycles – One of the best bike shops for road bikes in Santa Barbara!
For roadies, Fastrack Bicycles is a great bike shop in Santa Barbara for purchasing road bikes and accessories. Located at 118 West Canon Perdido Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101, this bike shop has been at this same location for 23 years and is still going strong. They are able to repair all brands of road bikes, even if it was not purchased from the store. They also carry gravel, mountain, and electric bikes. The owner, Dave Lettieri was an Olympian in 1988, and earned 8 National Championships and a Pan-Am gold medal during his racing days. His love for the sport shows at his shop. Bicycle Bobs (Now “Trek Bikes of Santa Barbara”) – One of the oldest bike shops in Santa Barbara!
Another highly recommended bike shop in Santa Barbara is Bicycle Bob’s which is now owned by Trek Bicycles! This shop being one of the oldest bike shops in town, has been open for 36 years and has been voted “best bike shop” by the Santa Barbara Independent for the last 31 years. It is also the largest bike shop in Santa Barbara. If you are a fan of Trek and Electra bikes, Bob’s has a great selection of road, mountain, electric, hybrid, and children bikes. Bici Centro – One of the best bike shops where you can learn to fix your own bike!
One of the most engaging bike shops in Santa Barbara would be Bici Centro. This community bike shop that provides an alternative option for fixing a bike rather than paying retail pricing. It is for everyone but, specifically serves those who use a bike as their primary transportation. When you visit during Open Shop hours, you will be greeted by a staff member or volunteer. All the bikes you can purchase are donated. Even though the bikes are all donations, they still have a large variety of bikes including high end road and mountain bikes that get donated on occasion. You are able to make an appointment to get your bike repaired with the help of a staff member or volunteer for just $10/hour. Walk-ins are welcome if there is availability. You can also purchase bike parts that you might need for fixing your bike, both new and used. This shop is open Tuesday-Saturday and is located on 434 Olive Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93101.

In the heart of downtown Santa Barbara on 1303 State Street is “Open Air Bicycles”, another great bike shop, perfect for families looking to buy bikes of all shapes and sizes..
