Surf Camp & Watersports Counselor
Hiring in March and May
$18-$20 / hr DOE plus tips
Position can be full time, part time, or seasonal.

Work at the beach this summer as a surf camp counselor! The camp invites kids to enjoy a week of surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and beach games in downtown Santa Barbara. If you're looking for a summer job that involves having a blast on the beach, in the ocean, and around fellow like-minded adults who love to be with kids then this is the role for you. If hired counselors can expect their work day to include teaching surfing, playing beach games, kayaking and paddle boarding, mentoring kids, and having a blast in the sun alongside your fellow camp counselors.

Bicycle Mechanic
starts at $21/hr

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of bike shop experience
- Mechanical proficiency in all types of bicycles and all general bike shop repair techniques

Join us if you are someone who is a passionate cyclist and has experience being a bicycle mechanic. We're looking for a full-time bicycle mechanic/technician with a minimum of 2 years of bike shop experience. Your primary role will be to maintain our fleet of road, mountain, hybrid, e-bikes, and cruisers. Each candidate should be proficient in repair and tune up skills and contribute to a supportive bike shop environment. We also require that you have quality customer service skills. If you enjoy riding and want to do some tour guide work as well that can be discussed upon desire but a majority of the role if not all will be mechanical work in our shop. Prepare to work on a bike during the interview process.

Surf Instructor

We are looking for surfers with great personalities and good work ethic. This is a job for the adventurous person who loves surfing and is good with people. We are hiring both part-time and full-time instructors. Our requirement is that each employee must be available at least 3 days a week for part-time and 4-5 days a week for full-time, both including 1 weekend day. All instructors must have a clean driving record and a minimum of 5 years surfing experience. We expect applicants to be organized, responisble, and always on time. Kayak Tour Guide/ Rental Operator

Position is Seasonal
Increased pay based on experience.
We are looking for someone who has experience in kayaking. Each candidate must be able to work 6-8 hour shifts on the beach including at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday). This job is for the adventurous person who loves working outdoors and on the beach! You will be renting kayaks and paddle boards from the beach as well as leading kayak tours and giving paddle board lessons. If you have limited experience we can train you but we prefer if you have previous experience. You can work full or part time in the summer months. We are looking for someone who is responsible, organized, and energetic.

Bike Guide & Rental Shop Operator

We are looking for someone to help rent out bikes to clients. This person will be in charge of working the stand, picking up bikes, and delivering them to clients. Each candidate should have great customer service, a friendly demeanor, and always be on time. This job can be part-time or full-time and you must be able to week at least one weekend day a week. If you are good working with people and are able to prepare and rent bikes out to clients this job is perfect for you!

We are looking for someone who is an advocate for all things outdoors and is able to empower others to get outside. The shop coordinator will be in charge of managing bookings, answering phone calls, answering emails, delegating work to guides and working on tasks that improve the company. This worker is expected to have great customer service skills on the phone and in person. The coordinator must be an organized individual who is capable of working on multiple tasks at the same time. They must be good at time management and a quick learner. The coordinator will also be responsible to help with on the spot bike and surf rentals. This position can be part time or full time.
